Location Scouting

 The project is shot over several locations. The beginning takes place with our character on the beach. We choose this because the beach produces a good connotation with peace and relaxation. This sense of peace created at the beginning is good to contrast with when the character starts talking about his pass hectic lifestyle in college. To represent the characters pass we included videos of our character out clubbing. The videos includes loud music, crowded rooms, flashing lights, all the opposite of the character in present time at the beach. These two different settings will help create the contrast between pass and present of the character.

Later in the film our character shows his changed lifestyle by getting a job at his uncles mechanic shop. The problem with this is getting a good back ground that has mechanic vibes. I considered using my garage as my car is being worked on inside of it right now, but it is still my garage. Space inside is limited and there is many things that would be hard to move around such as laundry supplies and old boxes with random utensils just for a few shots. Also getting my mom permissions.

Viktor suggested we go to a junkyard and we would not have to worry about making a mess and can get shots with us working on cars as well to create the mechanic lifestyle. 

We plan to try both locations when filming and seeing which shots produce better results and go from there.
