Music Choice

 The intro features the use of the song “Eye Of The Tiger”. Many people are familiar with this song from the movie “Rocky III”. Whole our movie does not have the same fierceness in the mood as used in other movies the song still contributes to the mood. I tried a few songs and the tiger just spoke to me the most. I felt as if the beat helps kick off the pace to the intro. Viktor character starts off by getting out of m bed and my character is reading a book on the beach. Both of these task can be seen as relaxing and by themselves may give the intro a slow feeling off the rip. When you add the beat of the song, it builds the anticipation. Yes you see characters doing something slow and relaxing, but you hear the music and it signals the build up is coming. 

Another reason is I feel the song helps fill the silence. Other noises such as ocean waves and seagull noise when on the beach. Sounds from the faucet as Viktor uses the bathroom. These are options that I also considered could feel the noise. But lastly I felt the song creates a clear ties between the characters and simultaneously builds suspense is what’s best fit for the intro.
