Who can be our cameraman?

    For this project I was in a group 2. The first time we did our mid term intro a few of the scenes were shot by my friend who was not in our group. In the mid term my third party friend recorded me and my partner walking down the hotel drive way. Our first solution to the problem was to have a 3rd person join our group and they would record. That potential 3rd person option ended up dropping the class a week after we asked them to join our group.. So we changed the way we took some shots. 

    To fix the camera man issue me and my partner used the legs on the gimble and stood  it up. Personally I liked the shot where it followed me and my friend walking but standing the gimble was the best solution we could have came up with. The only other choice was to get our friend to be actors while me or my partner recorded. The issue with that though was having to coordinate and rely on a third person to put effort into our project.

In a later shot the outsider recorded us walking into the elevator as it opened. Another shot which I felt looked very good in the film but would end up having to be replaced with a shot of us holding the gimble in a selfie mode. This choice was made to avoid repetition of the prop and walk shots we used moments before.
